Rigging

In my last post I stated that I’ve been playing with motion capture files so this post is just showing what I’ve been rigging + successful import of a motion capture file.

Things to note:
I did not make this model.
I did not make the animation/motion cap.
I did however do the rigging/skinning.
Motion capture file is unedited.
I am aware of the following problems-
-Head/neck misplacement of joints
-Awful skinning of right arm
-Misplaced thumb joint of left hand

What I did was use the skeleton generator then skinned in Maya. The end result it Maya was only mesh and bones (as seen below), no IK/FK on anything.

The character is one of the Dominance War winners. Not sure where the motion capture file originated from. The purpose of this task was to learn motion builder so I thought I might re-familiarize with rigging.
